Vote In The Liberal Dead’s 2012 Genre Film Awards!

Everyone has a best of list for 2012. Well we will too. In fact a number of us we’ll be teaming up to do a Dead Air Podcast recapping our favorites of 2012. I would imagine this podcast is where you too can find out what’s cool, who drools and who’s got the big brass family jewels.  Expect this podcast to post some time toward late January giving the crew enough time to catch up on some of the later works of 2012 (not limited to but including John Dies at the End just released on December 27th and Django Unchained released on Christmas Day). There will be a number of guest appearances each of us with an individual list of faves which should make for at least a decent wrestling match if not a full on BATTLE ROYALE (with cheese).

While all of the fanfare surrounding our illustrious lists of top movies of the year have you stargazing wildly into the future, we would like to take the time ask what movies you deem to be recognized as the best of the best of the best (sir) from 2012. We don’t always get it right, and if it isn’t for the readers and listeners taking the time and effort to pick up what we’re putting down, I can’t imagine we would be here very long.

Please take the time to take our little survey below. Results to be announced on the podcast in late January. That gives you plenty of time to sort through which movies you’d like to rave about. Also make sure you follow the links below to the podcast so you can subscribe and follow us. You can find out the results without following the podcast.

Please share this Survey with all your friends and pass the article around. The more responses we get, the better we know how ya’ll feel.

Create your free online surveys with SurveyMonkey, the world’s leading questionnaire tool.

You can check it out and subscribe to the podcast on iTunes HERE.

As always, find the wonderful world of podcasts as distributed by The Liberal Dead HERE including this episode. Make sure to subscribe and, if you are so inclined, rate and review the darn thing.  Find us on FaceBook HERE

If you should visit us via iTunes make sure you rate the cast and leave a review. We love feedback. If you’ve got a film you’d like to see reviewed or have questions for the crew, let us know.  We’re gluttons for your criticism.

Thank you in advance for participating in this little experiment in data collection.

About Jimmy Terror

Dr. Jimmy Terror, more commonly known as James P. Harris, has been “writing your eyes” shut since 2010 with his horror themed blog, Dr. Terror’s Blog of Horrors (whose name is a play on words derived from the Amicus film, Dr. Terror’s House of Horrors). In the early 2000’s he fronted the band The Vaudeville Vampires, a short-lived "Horrorabilly" band which saw the creation of a catalog of horror related songs before disbanding (with only one, six song demo ever being produced and distributed). He has had only one on screen appearance to date in the horror short, Ocean Parkway, as maniacal, gloved killer with a hair fetish. Having done some un-credited, behind the scenes work in some low budget genre pictures, he is currently working on his first foray into screenwriting with a demonic, retro gore entry that pays homage to Lucio Fulci, Dario Argento as well as other Italian masters of the genre.
