If you’ve been listening to our podcasts, then you probably already know that The Liberal Dead is a huge supporter of the festival, and we will be bringing you coverage throughout its run. Since the fest hasn’t officially started yet (the first screening is still a few hours away), there’s not much to report at the moment. However, you still have time to catch up with the festival by checking out our previous podcast coverage:
- Toronto After Dark 2012 Summer Screenings
During the past summer TADFF held two days of special screenings. The first night included the supernatural thriller The Pact, along with the Cuban-made zombie comedy Juan Of The Dead. You can find in-depth reviews of both of those films in Dead Air: Episode 18. The second night included the eccentric (and very divisive) Detention, followed by the found footage anthology film, V/H/S. To hear Jeff and Kirk’s take on those films, as well as some talk about the first wave of films announced for TADFF 2012, check out Dead Air: Episode 20.
- Toronto After Dark 2012 Preview
Recently, Jeff, Kirk, and Shawn all sat down for a couple of hours to discuss the entire TADFF 2012 schedule. To hear their thoughts on the overall lineup, what films they are excited for, and what films they are skeptical of, be sure to check out Dead Air: Episode 21.
While I am sure there will be more TADFF-related podcasts in the near future, the majority of our coverage during the festival will be right here on the main site, so be sure to check back every day to see what’s new and read about the films and events!
