Those beautiful twins are at it again with an awareness video they cooked up for “Woman in Horror Recognition Month.” Not only do the lovely twins give you a reason to donate blood but they get their message across in a violent and graphic way. This is not safe for work. Don’t let your boss […]
Women In Horror Month 2011 is almost at its end. This is unfortunate as the past twenty-four days have been an incredible experience for myself and, seemingly, for the horror community as a whole. It is time, in these final days, that we hear from two women/sisters/twins/filmmakers/actresses/stuntwomen and all around inspiring people: The Soska Sisters. I could write at length about how awesome these two, and their work, are. However, I decided I’d allow them to do it for you. What follows is a rather lengthy interview between myself and Jen and Sylvia. This is no mere fluff piece either, there is some serious though and dedication present in their answers here, so take the time to read it through and enjoy the last few days of Women In Horror Month 2011!

I-I…what?! Hang on, what?! Oh my God, what is this?!! Holy Phantasos. Th-this is the greatest movie of all time. A Night to Dismember has just done something to me and I want everyone else to get in on it. So let’s get cracking: we open with a shot of a thunderstruck sky, the bleeding […]
By now, anyone reading this has already heard the sad news. Tura Satana, the buxom, raucous actress most known for her performance as Varla in Russ Meyer’s FASTER PUSSYCAT! KILL! KILL!, passed away last Friday. In the past few days, following the tragic news of her death, tribute articles/posts flooded the internet. Satana may not […]
April A Taylor is a Dark Art photographer from Detroit, Michigan. She has been seriously focusing on photography since 2007 and she has been internationally published and exhibited. I recently interviewed her to coincide with this year’s Women In Horror Month and what follows is just that:
To help kick off Women In Horror Month, I thought I’d ask award winning author Andrea Dean Van Scoyoc a few questions. Thank you, Andrea, for participating!
