Kim Je-Woon’s ultra-violent Korean thriller, which will also see a limited theatrical release starting March 18th, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD by Magnolia on May 10th. This will be the fully uncut US release, as the film was unfortunately cut for censorship reasons in its native South Korea.

Well, sort of. It got released this Tuesday through Synapse but it appears to be out of stock at most retailers/e-tailers at the moment. Perhaps the folks at Synapse underestimated the draw of Coffin Joe? I know that I’m certainly surprised that enough people would purchase it causing Amazon’s stock to become nonexistent.
