Made by Grasshopper Manufacture inc (a company created by Suda 51), Lollipop Chainsaw will most likely follow in the steps of its predecessors. Suda 51 developed No More Heroes, Killer 7, and most recently, Shadows of the Damned, which all featured a crazy art style and usually a nonsensical story line to boot. I think we can safely assume that we will be getting that in Lollipop Chainsaw.
James Gunn, famous for films like Slither and Super, is not part of the meaty game development areas but instead, is lending his talent to writing the dialogue and story line. He is even getting actors he has worked with previously to do some voice acting. At least we know that we can expect a decent script and competent voice acting.
Heading to the PS3 and XBOX 360….at some point. Probably early next year (off the record).
