Time for smash it or trash it time here at The Liberal Dead’s Dead Air podcast. No doubt you’ve been scouring the internet trying to figure out just what you think about Lords of Salem even if you haven’t seen it yet due to the absolutely limited initial screenings around the U.S. Don’t let us stop you from trying to figure out where you can see it in its limited release, but rest assured that it is playing in more theaters now than on its initial release date. You may have a shot at catching it on the big screen which I can assure you is an experience to have. You may have to travel, or you may have to pick up the UK DVD. Whether you’ve seen the movie or not, Jeff Konopka, Shawn Savage and Jimmy Terror give you the lowdown on the newest Rob Zombie picture that’s as divisive as the new Evil Dead and nowhere near what you might expect from the death city rocker.
Now normally we might have spoilers in an episode discussing a new film saved for the end of the episode and well announced so you can keep a movie fresh and clean in your fresh young minds, while having a private discussion at the end of the podcast with those listeners who may have seen the movie already. We really didn’t do that at all this time, so you’ll have a whole bunch of content to enjoy without fear of having the movie ruined for you.
If for no other reason you might consider seeing this picture to see the other side of the Geico caveman. Lords of Salem may not be quite as easy as switching to Geico, but the performance by Jeff Daniel Phillips (the Caveman) is definitely worth checking out.
