“3D Nurse-Monster Cleavage Makes Me Moist” OR “Silent Hill: Revelation 3D”
DISCLAIMER: The Following Information Is for Entertainment Purposes Only. 100% Medically (and Factually) Inaccurate, (contrary to what the Centipede told you).
I haven’t been this pleasantly surprised since that time I woke up on a snow-bank, nuzzled comfortably between your Mom and that Yeti… twice.
I will start out by shamefully admitting that I have not played any of the Silent Hill games. However, I know that Konami (the dudes that made Contra) is/are awesome and anything they’re involved in/with has my seal of approval. I know they were HEAVILY involved with the making of the first film that came out in ’06.
So, in relation to the first film, I think Revelation has equal or greater value. It works well as a stand-alone film and as a sequel. It gives enough of the back-story of Pt. 1 to bring you to speed or remind you of what you saw before without replaying the whole friggin’ parade. We like this…
Now, I won’t go into the plot details because I hate spoilers (plus you can find them online anyway/where) but I will tell you that the story answers many/any questions you may have lingering from the first film and/but leaves an opening for another possible sequel without making you want to cry out for God/Satan/Ceiling-Cat/Deity of your choice. We also like this.
I am happy to report that most of the Cast (the people who play in the damn movie) from the original film have returned for this flick.
Sean Bean returns as Chris Da Silva…
Radha Mitchell as Rose Da Silva…
Deborah Kara Unger as Dahlia Gillespie…
The actress portraying Sharon Da Silva / Alessa / JoMama has been changed from Jodelle Ferland to Adelaide Clemens. We are indifferent about this…
Some characters included in this film happen to be some of my favorites. These include but are not limited to:
Trinity as Claudia Wolf
Dr. Loomis as Leonard Wolf
The Uber-Creepy surroundings are present in this film, much as in the first. The music and ambiance from Creepy-Town have also returned, along with the Horn of Gondor.
Aside from a few cliche 3D blades in your face moments, the cinematography/3D type stuff is somewhat conservative and actually a nice exercise in depth of field. The Ash-Flakes feel very natural and seem to want to land on your nose. We like this.
And did I mention that 3D Nurse-Monster Boobie-Cleavage is nice?!
Don’t judge me Monkey…
So, if you liked the first film at all, go see this one, it’s fun,
